Hi,
I have not been getting out too much locally this past week due to the heat and humidity. This evening it clouded up a bit and created some nice light. So, I took a short ride to the wetlands along the banks of the Bear River to search a site known to have some orchids. This image is of a hybrid cross between the Purple Fringed Orchid (Platanthera psycodes) and the Ragged Fringed Orchid (Platanthera lacera). Last year it was in bloom a little after the two other species. This evening I could find no Ragged Fringed Orchids and the Purple Fringed Orchids were still in tight heads, just starting to show a little color.
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
